Does the school provide the snack?

Yes, mid-session we serve a nutritious snack such as graham crackers and milk. Parents may send in treats for birthdays and holiday parties.


How many students are in each class?

Horizons has an 8 to 1 ratio in the 3 year old class with 2 teachers, 9 to 1 ratio in the 4 year old class with 2 teachers and a 10 to 1 ratio in the 5 year old class with 1 teacher if enrollment is full. We are a team teaching preschool. Although one teacher will be your child's "home" teacher, your child will benefit from the background and experiences of all the teachers in the classroom.


What are the qualifications and experience of the teachers?

The Director, Angie Racine, has a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a minor in Art. Angie has social work experience with Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services in the Help Me Grow program. She has been involved with Horizons since 2010 as a parent, 3 and 4 year old teacher, Assistant Director and currently Director/Owner.


Our teachers are selected for their educational background, preschool training, and teaching experience. Additionally, our teachers attend training seminars and classes to keep their skills and knowledge current.


How do I register my child at Horizons Preschool?

To register your child, you will need to complete an enrollment form and sign the contract for enrollment from September to May of the current school year. Please see the enrollment page for further details.
